Chart: Let me explain about the Chart in MS-Excel 2016: In this section we’re going to start to look at what many people consider to be one of the greatest strengths of Excel and that is the ability to create really good Graphs and Charts. So, why do people use Graphs and Charts in Excel? Well usually it’s to strengthen a message or sometimes to actually give the message itself. As the saying goes, a picture can paint a thousand words. And very often, particularly with complex data a picture can help people to understand the data without getting too baffled by all of the numbers. Now I should warn you that the area of Graphs and Charts in Excel is a pretty vast area so we’re going to start with the basics as usual and I’m going to use some very straightforward data here about bonus sheet for a company calling Bright Level. For more understanding, look at the screenshot please: Sparklines: Sparklines are tiny charts inside single worksheet cells that can be used to visually represent and show a trend in your data. There three types of style sparklines are available like lines, columns and win/loss to create a mini chart. Sparklines can draw attention to important items such as seasonal changes or economic cycles and highlight the maximum and minimum values in a different color. Showing trends in your worksheet data can be useful, especially when you’re sharing your data with other people. Because a sparkline is embedded in a cell, any text you enter in the cell uses the sparkline as its background, as shown in the following example. If you select one cell, you can always copy a sparkline to other cells in a column or row later by dragging or using Fill Down (Ctrl+D). How to create a sparklines mini chart using column style? Select a column of data that you want to create sparklines mini chart => Select Insert Tab => Click Column Tool=> Select the location that you want to view mini chart (if you need to view the chart on top of the data, select same column or different column).
