Workbook Views:
MS-Excel 2016 offers different ways to display the Workbook at same time you can use the predefined Views that Excel offers you, or you can even create your own Custom View with specific settings that suit you. Let’s see the Workbook Views that you have available one by one. Normal View: MS-Excel is providing Normal view for keep working on the worksheet without any destructions, I mean, destruction is showing Page-break or Page layout view on the worksheet while we are working. When you change the view of worksheet, you can come back to Normal view by following the path: select the View tab and then click Normal on the left side of the Workbook views section. Page Break Preview: By using Page Break Preview, we can easily see where the page breaks will appear when we print our data on the worksheet. To activate the view, from the area of the ribbon named Workbook Views we select the Page Break Preview. Page Layout: By using Page Layout view, we will see exactly how our printed document will look like. This is a good way to see where the pages begin and end and also to see the Headers and Footers that we might have in our document. To choose Page Layout view, from the area of the ribbon named Workbook Views you select the Page Layout View. Custom View: When you need to customize a view yourself to use you can design it and can save your current display and print settings that you have applied to your document as a custom view, that we can quickly use and apply in the future to other documents as well. To create a Custom View, from the area of the ribbon named Workbook Views we select the Custom View command. Once you selected the Custom Views window appears and, in this window, you can click the Add button, which is located in the middle right corner. Once you click Add button, the Add View window appears where at the right of the area Name: you can type in the name for the Custom View that you want. Under the area Include In View, you can activate or deactivate what you want to include in your Custom View. The commands that you can activate or deactivate are Print Settings and Hidden Rows, Columns And Filter Settings. Once finished you can click OK button and you are done. Now, once you click OK button, you can return to the Custom Views window, where under the area Views you can notice the name of your Custom View. At the right you can click the Show button to display your Custom View. You can also Close the view, Add another view or Delete the view. For more understanding, please look at the screenshot:
