AND( ) Function:
The AND function uses to evaluate whether all arguments are true or false in a cell. If function performs logical test is true, then return value is true. I mean the logical test, when a student sit in an exam student should get the score in certain level to pass or raise the current level up. So here you can easily understand the logic that is if a student gets certain score on the examination then only passed the level up or fail (fail means stay same level or not get passed).
 
Let’s me explain a bit more about AND function uses: The common use for the AND function is to expand the usefulness of other functions that perform logical tests. For example, the IF function performs a logical test and then returns one value if the test evaluates to TRUE and another value if the test evaluates to FALSE. By using the AND function as the logical_test argument of the IF function, you can test many different conditions instead of just one.
 
Syntax:
AND(logical1, [logical2], ...)
The AND function syntax has the following arguments:
Logical1: Required. The first condition that you want to test that can evaluate to either TRUE or FALSE.
Logical2: Optional. Additional conditions that you want to test that can evaluate to either TRUE or FALSE, up to a maximum of 255 conditions.
 
Q:
How to use AND function to checking two logics?
Type the function as follows in the cell that you would like to get the result in:
=AND(B3>=1, B3<=100)

OR( ) Function:
When you want to use OR function in your data, that is easy to understand and use. The OR function returns TRUE if any of its arguments evaluate to TRUE, and returns FALSE if all of its arguments evaluate to FALSE.
